My very own leica!

2.16am on my clock now and my eyelids are still damn light! My nocturnality is getting from bad to worse. Just got home not too long ago from the Saturday Night Sprint at Pasir Gudang's Race track. Went with sanerz... Damn, those cars are fast!!! Long-live Honda VTEC! Love the VTEC roar/scream/grunt... Hee.. I love my old trusty honda too. Shall post some pics of the rides in my next extry... Only if sanerz sends me the snapshots soon enough. We took those pics using her chique-pink-razr.

Talking about taking pictures... I was chatting with Huisi earlier in the afternoon. Posting questions to the guru on cameras and different genre of photo-styles. Topics discussed were lomo, lc-a, so on and so forth. Things got abit heated up for me and I thought I'd consider getting my own vintage camera. Just when I was contemplating, I suddenly remembered playing with one of my dad's cameras when I was a kid!! Thought it looked rather professional and super duper ancient. Then,I breathed in really hard and smelt something, my nose lured me into my dad's bedroom, into his wardrobe... I looked up and ..*drum rolls* ...TADA!!!! Behold, Yashica Electro 35 GSN!! Delight!!!! Just after I found the piece of treasure, I heard the gates at the car porch open. My dad came home. I ran downstairs out into the car porch to receive daddy like a small boy and asked if I could have the camera. Tee hee... And so, another present from James to Geoffrey. =P My old man told me he bought that camera in 1977 in Japan! Coooooool.. so I've got 2 pieces of antiques now. My car and my cam.[Both Japanese makes] Hah!

However, the casing was terribly moudly and the camera had some mould-stains on it too. [Check out the fotos attached above] Spent a good 30min ridding the mould off the leather case and then conditioning it with some gooey stuff for leather. Looks good now though... Next, gonna bring MY new toy to the shop for revival!!! Gonna "perfect"[bigggg word] my photography skills with my leica and post the pictures up to induce admiration. hahaha.. aite Huisi, if you reading this, don't roll your eyeballs. Give me some time. I'll get your "bible" soon from Kino. But first, gotta send my electro to the shop sooner. I'm like friggin' excited over the new-old-camera in my possession now. haha ... With my intention to keep my locks long, I think I'm gonna look like those pauperish sloppy photographers out on the streets who cannot even afford paddle pop...! Okay, I'm side tracking again....

As soon as my cam is in good working condition, I'll snap pics and post them up here. Be it bad or good shots... I'll post them. But I figured out the initial pics are gonna turn out like shit. It'll be a good way for my blog readers to keep track on my photo-taking improvements though. =))))) Gotta jet for now!
